Learn More About Monolith Tattoo Studio

1Why Monolith Tattoo Studio?
Edward Kehoe, the owner of Monolith Tattoo Studio, had a vision. It was to open a tattoo studio of monolithic proportions and standards. He wanted to have one studio with the best of the best tattoo artists in Bend, each having their unique style of tattooing, all under one roof. That way, clients need to look no further, whatever style of tattoo they want they will find an artist to fit that piece at Monolith Tattoo Studio in Bend, OR.
2I want a tattoo. Where do I start?
Do your research — check out portfolios online, tattoo studio reviews, ask your friends. When you are ready, come down to the studio, bring any reference photos you have, on your phone is fine, printed copies work, or if you just have a “vision” that is stored up in that mind of yours just bring yourself in and the artist will help you put that vision to paper/skin. If you don’t already have an artist in mind, we will help you determine the right artist for what you are wanting and show you their work, then we will schedule you a free consultation with that artist. You'll go over the design, placement, size, color and pricing. If you are still confused, don't worry, we have a diligent front desk staff that can help you with just about everything you need to know!
3How old do I need to be to get a tattoo?
In the state of Oregon, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid government-issued ID. We do not accept school ID cards. If you are under the age of 18, there is no way for us to tattoo you. Even if your parents say it’s okay. It will be well worth the wait and we would love to tattoo you once you’ve reached legal age.
4How much do tattoos cost?
Tattoo pricing varies based on a multitude of factors including size, detail, subject matter, etc. Most of our artists have an $80 minimum. You can set up a free consultation anytime if you’d like to get a more specific idea of how much your custom tattoo will cost!
5Do you take credit cards?
We prefer cash, but yes, we take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, credit card gift cards and Monolith Tattoo gift cards.
6How much should I tip my artist?
While tipping your artist is not mandatory, it lets the artist know of a job well done. We’ve seen people tip anywhere from $5 to a few hundred dollars for their tattoo.
